Get Confirmation of Your Registration
Print a copy of your schedule to confirm your registration by clicking on the view/modify course schedule link in your student account. Check this carefully and keep a copy for your records. Also, check your schedule again one week prior to the start of classes to see if any changes have occurred.
Pay Tuition Before the Deadline
The tuition deadline is found on the Important Dates & Deadlines page of the ARCC website (see Find Out More links). If you plan to use financial aid, apply early and make certain your financial aid will be applied by the posted deadline. Remember, tuition invoices are not mailed. Monitor your account online using your Student/Tech ID and PIN.
Warning: Students may be dropped for non-payment after the tuition deadline, and if dropped, will find it difficult to get back into a closed course. For those who are not able to get into a course keep checking the website for possible openings.
Know the Deadline for Drop/Add
Students may add classes until the fifth day of the semester (unless otherwise specified). Students may drop classes and get a refund through the 5th day of the term. This policy may change, so please refer to the information found in the academic calendar.

Initialize and Document Your Technology Information

Taking an Online Course or Using Desire2Learn (D2L)? To login to Desire 2 Learn, your username is your Student Tech ID, and your default password will be one of the following:
- Birth date in YYMMDD format (i.e. 920105, for January 5, 1992)
- The last six digits of your social security number
- If neither of the above are in the student registration system, the default password will be blank (do not enter a password for initial login).
Note: Students will be able to login into D2L 25 days before the semester starts, but not access their courses until the starte date on the course schedule. It will take one business day for your courses to be available in D2L after you register for classes. Unless designated as an online course, some of your courses may not be listed on D2L. Instructors have the option of requesting that their course be available online.
