Academic Advisors are available to assist students on a walk-in basis. Appointments are available upon request. Students can receive assistance with planning class schedules, checking graduation requirements and exploring transfer options. Academic Support Center/Tutoring
The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides free, drop-in peer tutoring. Peer tutors are students who were recommended by instructors, and help you better understand course material and improve study strategies. Access Services

Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Adult Basic Education (ABE) is a free service that helps students with GED and Accuplacer preparation, Reading Enhancement, as well as basic writing and math skills. ABE also provides academic prepartion and writing assistance for speakers of other languages. Bookstore

Career Center

Computer Information/Information Technology
Open computer labs are available on both campuses and provide a variety of services including: student email, Internet access, file storage, Desire2Learn (D2L) training, and scanners with image editing software. Anoka-Ramsey also partners with a third-party vendor to offer academic software at reduced pricing. Students, faculty, and staff are required to obey computer use policies.

ELL/ESL
ELL/ESL Resources include materials and services for English Language Learners (ELL). A computer with software for practicing reading, writing, and speaking skills is available in the Academic Support Center and Coon Rapids Library. Specific academic advisors are available to work with English Language Learners and recent immigrants. Library
The Libraries at both ARCC Campuses provide a variety of materials, equipment, and services to students, faculty, and staff. Individual and small group study spaces are also available. For information not available on campus you can access materials from over 300 libraries through online catalogs MnPALS & MnLINK. Math Skills & Advising Center (MSAC)
The MSAC aids students to brush up on math skills and improve their test scores. It is available to all students who test into and are taking Math 0100, 0200, 0210, and 0220. Tutors and advisors are available for individual consultations with students. Multicultural Services
The Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Department provides support for all students, and in particular students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. The Department assists with recruitment, retention, graduation, and alumni connection. By providing educational programming to enhance cultural competence skills and working towards building an inclusive campus environment. Online Services
Students are required to sign up for and use their student e-mail account, which is the college's official means of communication. On the ARCC website, students can also register, check financial aid status, view and pay tuition bills, order textbooks, print unofficial transcripts, and check grades. Records & Registration
The Records Office processes grade changes, course repeats, transfer and graduation evaluations, diplomas, and address changes. Students can add, drop, or withdraw from courses through their e-services account online, but paper registration with an advisor's signature is required in certain circumstances. Testing Center
The Testing Center provides placement, alternative, and make-up testing for students. Placement tests are required for new students taking eight or more credits, returning students enrolling for their eighth credit, students enrolling in a Math and/or English course, and all PSEO students.
