To remain in good academic standing, students must maintain a 2.0 overall grade point average (GPA) and successfully complete 67% of all credits attempted at Anoka Technical College.
The goals of the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy are to:
- Define and maintain the academic standards of the college;
- Intervene with students who do not meet college requirements in order to support retention of students who encounter difficulties;
- Provide for efficient use of state and college resources;
- Provide standards and systems that are fair, consistent with graduation requirements, and appropriate for both full time and part time students.
At the end of each fall, spring and summer term, after the deadline for posting grades, the college will review the academic standing of each student registered for that term.
All students not in good standing will be notified in writing of their status.
