Library Resources

Distance Minnesota has an extensive online library that can be accessed through MyOnlinePortal any time of the day. The ability to access credible information is an important part of writing a good research paper.

The "Online Library" includes full text articles available through several databases that specialize in subjects like criminal justice, business, social work, technical communications, and more. There is a lot of information both in print and on the web -- and it can be hard to know what you can trust and where to start! Learning how to use the library will help you become a better student and save you time. The research skills you learn early in your program will help you both personally and professionally throughout your academic career and beyond.

We look forward to helping you access your library resources!

As an online student, you are also welcome to visit your on-campus library if the need arises.  They have a broad selection of books, reference materials, DVDs, magazines, and journals. The campus library has computers, wireless access, laptops to check out, private study rooms, and unlimited printing.  The library is a great place to meet a study group or talk with a librarian one-on-one.
