You should obtain your Student ID card from your Home College within 2-3 weeks of your initial registration. An activated card allows you to:
- Check out and renew books and videos from the library.
- Access several online databases through your home college library web-page
- Use Interlibrary loan (ILL). ILL allows you to have articles from other libraries emailed to you, or books and videos sent to the your home college library from other library systems. ILL is a free service and allows you to have access to materials at virtually any library!
- Check out materials directly from libraries in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system.
- Reserve study rooms up to two weeks ahead of time, check out laptops, study rooms, and more!
