Financial Aid

If you plan to attend Distance Minnesotaduring the upcoming academic year, and receive financial aid, please understand the following:

• The financial aid application process will take three to six weeks to complete.
• The campus has specific dates for payment of tuition each semester. If you have not paid your tuition, set up a FACTS payment plan or received a formal financial aid award notification from the Financial Aid Office you will be dropped from all previously registered courses.
• The campus accepts major credit cards for tuition payment and has a FACTS payment plan available through eServices

Deadline Dates:

Students who do not have a completed financial aid award letter by the deadline should make alternative arrangements to FACTS Payment Plan charges. Please refer to Distance Minnesota for the latest deadline dates.

Special Notice:

Unless otherwise indicated, financial aid applicants must be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens; financial aid programs are not available to International students.
