Appeal Process

If you find yourself in an extenuating or unusual circumstance such as being hospitalized or seriously ill, knowing the different policies and procedures can help you during a difficult time in your academic program. Students are encouraged to be informed of their options, just in case. Below are some examples of appeals that vary in nature depending on the situation. Appeal for Denied Credits This form is for appealing the decision made for denied credits from the following Institution/Agency/Program only. Appeal forms should be filed as soon as possible after your admission to the university. Appeals must be written clearly and include supporting documents (all relevant information to verify and or support your appeal). If appropriate documents are missing, the appeal will be returned PDF format
Transfer Credit Evaluation Appeal for Specific Courses This form is for appealing the transfer decision made regarding the courses on your General Education/Liberal Studies/MNTC worksheet only. Appeal forms should be filed as soon as possible after your admission to the university. All Transfer Appeals must be written clearly and include supporting documents (e.g. course description, syllabus or any other relevant information).
