Declaring a major is a critical step toward completing your degree program.
Benefits of declaring a major/program include:
Major admission requirements: Some majors/programs have admission requirements that must be completed before you can declare the major.
You are expected to complete any admission requirements for your major, submit a Major Program Declaration form and be admitted to the major by the time you complete 80 credits or within one year of transferring to Metropolitan State (whichever comes later). Students who do not have an approved major by this deadline may be prevented from registering.
Declaring a major does not prevent you from changing your major in the future.
Requirements for Acceptance to the Business Administration Major:
You must complete the following Foundation Courses (or equivalent transfer courses) with a grade of S or C- or higher before declaring your major:
After completing these requirements, submit a College of Management Undergraduate Program Declaration Form to your advisor as soon as possible.
