St. Paul Campus
- The student ID card can be obtained at Library Services on the St. Paul Campus during most hours that the library is open, including Mondays-Thursdays evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. A driver's license or similar photo identification is required.
- A photograph will be taken at the time of application and your card will be issued immediately.

Minneapolis Campus
Cards are made in the Open Computer Lab., in T3200. Students must bring:
- A copy of the student's current class schedule or fee statement. Students may print a copy of their class schedule from the computer when s/he registers.
- An official identification card which has student's name and picture clearly shown (like a driver's license or a passport)
