The evaluation of your transfer credits is a two step process:
Step 1: Metropolitan State's Admissions Office determines how many credits will transfer, and which courses will apply towards the General Education and Liberal Studies (GELS) requirements.
Step 2: Each college or school offering the major you are pursuing determines whether transfer courses will be accepted to meet major requirements.
If you disagree with your evaluation of your General Education and Liberal Studies from Admissions, you may submit the applicable forms (Appeal for Denied Credits and/or Appeal for Transfer Credit Evaluation) and documentation to support your appeal.
If you disagree with the evaluation of your courses for your major, contact your assigned academic advisor. You may be required to submit additional documentation to support an appeal to have the course content re-evaluated.
