- Review the section in the Online Orientation called Explore a Major where you can find a list of exploratory courses that you can take while meeting degree requirements. Career Services to define your career goals that will help shape your education plan. Plus there are a list of questions to ask yourself and more.
- Review the section in the Online Orientation called Choose and Declare Your Major. Read about the different Major Descriptions from the catalog that outlines the curriculum, as well as additional advising information such as Major Checklist, Course Sequence and more.
- Retrieve the Undergraduate Requirements and GELS Course List for a list of courses that meet General Education and Liberal Studies requirements.
- Take a career exploration course such as Psyc 107 Career Planning and Development or Psyc 108 Career and Life Planning for Women that meets Goal V, a general education requirement and helps you explore the world of work.
- Explore the different disciplines and possible areas of interests while completing the required General Education and Liberal Studies requirements for your degree program.
- Complete the prerequisites and foundation courses for your degree program that may also meet general education requirements.
- Explore designing your own degree program through First College.
- Consult the Academic Advising web site and contact an advisor from one of the six colleges to learn more about the admission process for a particular major or program.
