Welcome to the North Hennepin Community College online orientation! 

Are you an online student?  Are you an experienced transfer student who does not need assistance with course selection? Then you may participate in online orientation!

Are you a new student? Are you a transfer student needing assistance with course selection? Are you a PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Option) student? Then you will need to attend the in-person orientation program where counselors and advisors can assist you. Please call 763-493-0588 to make a reservation for your in-person orientation.

  • Online orientation will take approximately 2 hours to complete. 
  • You may log in as many times as you need to complete it. 
  • You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view some of the information.
  • IMPORTANT: Upon completion of this orientation, you need to confirm your completion by submitting  your name and Student ID number at the end of the What's Next module. 
  • HELPFUL HINT: Return to this site often, as it is a good resource and reference tool for you. 

    To begin online orientation now, click on the Degrees/Programs module. Use either the tabs at the top of the page, or the NEXT indicators to move through the materials.

  • What's Next explains what you need to do after registration.  For example, how to obtain your student ID, buy books, and open a free email account.
