Career Degree Programs

Community and Technical Colleges offer a variety of career-related degrees such as nursing, paralegal and network technology. These Associate in Science (AS) and the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees are intended to lead directly to the workforce so transferability of credits is limited.

The AS degrees may transfer, but they are designed to transfer to one or two specific programs at specific colleges. The AAS degrees are not intended for transfer, thereby requiring a higher percentage of occupational coursework.
