Independent Studies

After you register for your independent study course, be sure to put together a plan to complete the course. Students need strong time management and self discipline to complete an independent study. Refer to the online Class Schedule for detailed instructions. For example:

1. Instructor's permission required before registering
2. Contact the instructor for course materials, or
3. Contact a specific department (ie.,history department) for a course packet by a certain date.

Note: If there are no specific instructions, after registering contact the instructor directly.
