Minnesota Course Applicability System (MNCAS)

What is it?

MNCAS is a multistate, Web-based transfer information system that provides fast and accurate course and credit information to college and university students and their advisors. MNCAS is a collaborative effort by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the University of Minnesota.

What does it do?

The MNCAS system helps transfer students move from school to school and earn degrees in a timely manner. Users can obtain program information, course descriptions and equivalencies, student services Web sites (admissions, financial aid and others) and maintain a personal "degree audit" with courses and grades they have earned.

How does it work?

Through one entry, https://mn.transfer.org/cas/index.jsp , a potential transfer student has direct access to course acceptability, equivalency and applicability among participating institutions across the United States, enabling student to immediately see how their courses fulfill degree requirements at the desired college or university.
