Students come from a variety of backgrounds and different experiences. In some cases, students may be able to accelerate their program by enrolling in a theory seminar or seeking an assessment of prior learning depending on their background.
Part of that process includes a self-assessment exercise called a diagnostic test. Diagnostic tests for theory seminars are designed to help you choose whether to take a course or independent study, enroll in a theory seminar, or to seek an assessment of prior learning.
The results of any diagnostic exam are not intended to predict successful completion of any of these learning strategies. A diagnostic test provides a small sample of the materials that you would encounter in a course, independent study, theory seminar or assessment of prior learning.
